Studio icon/ Production team logo
This was the first iteration of the logo in its original colours. I used an image to create the basis of it, then decided that I would like to change the colour scheme.
Here, I changed to colour scheme to black and yellow as I thought it was a nice alteration from traditional black and white logos. Our site is also largely dark, so having a colourful icon would attract people to it.
Here, I downloaded a vector image of a filmstrip, and then planned to decrease it in size, then place it onto the logo to make it seem more like a production logo than just a generic one.
Finally, I used the distortion tool to 'wrap' the filmstrip around the fedora of the logo then I downloaded font similar to the one used in the acclaimed video game 'Watch Dogs'. I also added an eye at the end of the studio name to enhance the effect of the name 'detective studios'.
